Tomei Oil Pan Baffle Plate

The Oil Pan Baffle Plate for 2022+ Toyota GR86 & Subaru BRZ (FA24DI Engine) is designed to stabilize the oil supply of the engine (especially during hard acceleration/deceleration & cornering). Under heavy use, the OEM oil pan will move oil away from the oil pick up line and it may cut the oil supply from the engine. The Tomei Oil Pan Baffle Plate is designed to fix this issue by using a multi-plated structure to keep the oil supply stable. 

HOW IT WORKS

The plate helps avoiding the oil to move too much and get away from the oil supply line. The OEM Oil Pan shows that the oil jumps up towards the block side along with the oil pan shape that will cause to cut the oil supply and lower the oil pressure. After adding the Tomei Oil Pan Baffle Plate, the upper plate blocks the oil jumping and keeps the oil in the oil pan that ensures the stable oil supply under any condition.

The lower plate keeps the oil next to the oil pick up line. The OEM Oil Pan has oil moving around due to the strong G-force towards the front, rear, left and right that causes air cavities in the oil line. After adding the Tomei Oil Pan Baffle Plate, the lower plate keeps the oil, that is kept in the oil pan by the upper plate, in the bottom of the oil pan where the oil pickup is.
